Cuba

Traveling through Cuba by road trip meant crossing a country that seems frozen between different eras. From Havana to the most rural regions, the journey allowed me to observe how each area has its own character, even though they all share the constant presence of a political past that is still visible, omnipresent in murals, posters, and slogans that are part of the everyday landscape. But it was the people who gave the journey its true significance: each one different, with their own story, yet all sharing the same leisurely rhythm, a way of living life with a calmness that stands in contrast to everything around them.
